bye bye bump

It has been a L-O-N-G week. Long week. Long week. Thomas went in and had surgery on Wednesday. He had a bump removed from his neck (bad picture below), and a deviated septum (nose) fixed. As he went into the ENT to see what he thought of the lump on his neck, he found that he was getting little to no air out of one of his nostrils. He was breathing mostly though his mouth. The ENT said that made it so the quality of air he was getting wasn’t as good as if he breathed though his nose. He thought it would help with his asthma and his SNORING (yeah, crossing fingers!) While he was there he also found a lump on his thyroid. So, on Friday, we went to McKay Dee hospital and had a thyroid ultrasound done. I could see the lump on the ultrasound, but I already knew that was there ;) No fingers and no toes?? That is the kind of ultrasound I am used to looking at! Anyway, we will find out the results of the lump they took out and sent for testing, and the ultrasound when we go in on wed and get the nose splints out. (I tried to find a picture of the splints...they are HUGE!! Thomas wants me to take the camera on wed to take a picture of how big they are....so stay tuned for a special treat! LOL). Anyway, Thomas helps me so much....SOOOOO much. When he isn’t able to help me, I feel the stress. I treid to keep the kids away from him (they kept being wild and making him afraid they were going to hit his nose), keep him drugged (he isn’t doing so well with the recovery...actually not well at all), keep the stupid sidewalks and driveway shoveled...none alone really push me over the edge, but I have been really grumpy and ornery! I guess I am just praying that the lumps are nothing, Thomas will FINALY recover and we can get back to good old same ole same ole.
