We're going to catch a Leprechaun!!

When Hailey was in first grade, her teacher had an assignment to make a Leprechaun trap. Kaden LOVED the idea. Now, a year later, he has come up with HIS Leprechaun trap. It is a garbage sack box covered in red tape (because if the Leprechaun saw that it was a garbage sack, there is no way he would go in...ya know.) The top has 3 sides of a square cut out, so that if he steps on that part of the box, he falls in. He has put grass all on the top, and a pot of gold made out of play-doh and the fake gold coins...you know, the bait...to lure him in. (LOL) Well, that wasn't good enough. Once he is caught, he has to have stuff inside! So, he lined the bottom with the red tape for carpet, made a couch and a bed with a pillow. He still has plans to make a TV and some shelves. Don't worry, he has already figured out we don't have books small enough, so he will be making some. I am hoping Easter will distract him!

That is soooo awesome. Kaden is so funny, I laughed and laughed. Tell him good luck with the leprechaun...if he can't find one at your house, I think I might have one at mine! It steals keys and binkies and hides them in weird places!

Nate says Kaden should have no problem catching a leprechaun because he made such a nice home for it.
