Thomas had been working on his office off and on for awhile. He received a job offer, and knew it was in the best interest of all parties involved that he should finish up his office and hibernate in the basement.
Kaden saw that Thomas had glasses, a mask and music. So he came running up, got his mp3 player, got his sunglasses and Thomas helped him find a mask. They spend hours down there together. Kaden didn't want to miss out on one moment of action with his dad!When Aunt Ellen came over, they took a break and cleaned up. We had a delightful time with Ellen and Dave when all of the sudden Kinley came up. She was COVERED in drywall dust! She wanted to be right there helping out in the basement too. The look on all our faces when she came up was priceless I'm sure. I ran to the kitchen wondering how in the world she had monkeyed up and got to the flour. When we all realized what it was, we burst out laughing. Whats good for the goose is good for the gander dad...next time take ALL the kids downstairs and mom will take the day off!
This post isn't very fulfilling, there is no "after" picture, but it looks awesome!

It's too bad the 2 little ones aren't big enough to work a sander. Things would go a whole lot quicker if they were. :)
Allie - Dave and I will never forget that day, the time we were able to spend with all of you (and Amy and her kids too)and especially the look on Kinley's face - so innocent. Thanks so much for your hospitality! Love, Ellen
