Our city has an annual pumpkin walk. They have church groups, school groups, families, whoever will volunteer to carve pumpkins...carve! There were over 1500 this year. Some of them are pre-school aged (that is how we found out about it...When Hailey was in Pre-school they gave them all a pumpkin and we carved it!) but some really get into a lot of detail! I am always amazed at how well they look!
We hit the pumpkin walk after going to the schools fall festival. The kids were having a ball, even though it was a school night!
Kinley would be so excited and yell out what the pumpkins were carved as. Kaden loved the ones that had a star wars theme, and Hailey loved the cat ones! We had a great day....no complaints once bedtime came. I don't think anyone even moved once their heads hit the pillow...I love nights like that!
